A 69-yard scamper up the middle of the field gave Langston a 7-6 lead, and put Ross just 20 yards away from breaking LaMark Brim's 16-year old record of 3,288 yards in a Langston uniform for a career. In the second half, Ross would break Brim's record with a scintillating 82-yard scramble up the middle of Ranger Field to give the Lions a 35-18 lead with 6:05 remaining in the third quarter.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
