Oklahoma Panhandle State University and No. 9 Langston University received wins on Saturday to notch a three-way tie for first in the Central States Football League, as the Aggies and Lions are tied with Southwestern Assemblies of God, as all three teams are 3-0 in conference play.  

Over the weekend, Langston defeated Lane College, 27-21, in a non-conference game to remain 5-0 overall and Oklahoma Panhandle State defeated Wayland Baptist, 35-24. Texas College got its first CSFL victory of the season with a 21-11 win over Texas Wesleyan and #18 Arizona Christian downed Lyon College by a 56-17 margin.  

 

Saturday, October 14 features a full slate of CSFL conference games with three games kicking off at 2 p.m. Bacone (1-5, 1-3) heads to Texas to meet Texas Wesleyan (0-6, 0-3), Southwestern Assemblies of God (4-1, 3-0) hosts Wayland Baptist (2-4, 2-2), and Texas College (1-5, 1-3) and Langston (5-0, 3-0) play in Tulsa at the Black Wall Street Classic, all with a 2 p.m. start time. Arizona Christian (5-1, 3-1) will entertain Oklahoma Panhandle State (4-1, 3-0) at 9 p.m. CST in Phoenix.
